Hearing on 6/16: “Cybersecurity: DHS’ Role, Federal Efforts and National Policy.”

On Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at 10:00 a.m., the Homeland Security Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives will conduct a hearing entitled “Cybersecurity: DHS’ Role, Federal Efforts and National Policy."  One of the witnesses will be Stewart A. Baker, who has been posting on FISA, cybersecurity legislation, counter terrorism and The Wall (between intelligence and law enforcement investigations) over at The Volokh Conspiracy.  The hearing will be webcast live at this link (but it only works during the hearing).

Previously, Mr. Baker was Assistant Secretary for Policy, Department of Homeland Security during 2005-2009; General Counsel, Commission on the Intelligence Capabilities of the United States Regarding Weapons of Mass Destruction during 2004-2005; and General Counsel of the National Security Agency during 1992-1994.
