On November 3rd, 2011, CBS News reported how cyberattacks by the Chinese and Russians make it seem like the Cold War never really ended. Noting the recent Office of the National Counterintelligence Executive (ONCIX) report, the article highlights that Chinese and Russian cyberattacks have swallowed up large amounts of high-tech American research and development data, and used that data to help build their economies. The report specifically noted that "the governments of China and Russia will remain aggressive and capable collectors of sensitive U.S. economic information and technologies, particularly in cyberspace." Of course, to be fair, the ONCIX report also cited some US partners and allies as threats to US data.
The ONCIX report stated that the areas of greatest interest to foreign countries include business information on scarce natural resources, military technologies such as UAVs, communication technology, and dual-use technologies in areas such as pharmaceuticals and clean energy.

If you can't see it, the chip says "Made in the USA" but "Stolen and transferred to an unnamed country with a cool wall, great noodles and countless cyber hackers." Clearly a veiled reference to the Dutch.
