Kenneth Corbin wrote for NetworkWorld that the cybersecurity bill that will eventually come to the Senate floor will likely be a combination of past proposals. The article quoted a legislative aide to Sen. Harry Reid who explained that the bill really won't be comprehensive because it's difficult "to touch on a lot of really important elements of cybersecurity . . . all in one bill." Nevertheless, this bill will address government authority over critical infrastructure.

Gautham Nagesh reported for The Hill and explained that the cybersecurity proposals will likely put DHS in charge of the nation's cybersecurity (there was an earlier proposal that had the NSA in charge).
