Dawn Lim reported for Nextgov on the DoD’s deployment of a cyberattack test range. According to Lim, the cyberattack test range contains “a mini-model of the public Internet and other institutional networks” that “provide[] for the modeling of cyber attacks.” The purpose of the range is to develop and test cyberweapons.
