Defense bill would require contractors to notify DoD of cyber intrusions: Foreign Policy

On 12/7, John Reed wrote for Foreign Policy’s Killer Apps blog on an interesting information-sharing provision in NDAA 2013.  Reed noted that a clause in the NDAA “would require defense contractors to notify the Pentagon any time they have suffered a ‘successful penetration.'”  The contractors must also give the Pentagon access to both “equipment or information” and samples of the “malicious software.”  Check out the rest of Reed’s article for more.
