Even more analysis on CyberComm expansion: Atlantic Council

Yesterday I posted a few tweets from Jason Healey, so today I’ll do one better; here’s Healey’s article for the Atlantic Council on CyberComm’s expansion.  The article breaks down the implications of the expansion, noting that DoD still has to find a way to train 4k new cyber warriors and convince them that wearing a uniform (or working as a GS) is better than making bank in the private sector.

Hopefully that 4k expansion includes some new slots for lawyers, notwithstanding the fact that that’s probably the last thing they need more of.

Healey also gets into my new favorite topic, the “National Mission Forces,” and describes their mission as “getting your hands in the face of their quarterback or sacking him, rather than covering their receivers.”  I love it.
