Neal Ungerledier had an interesting piece for Fast Company on the rise of the incident response company Mandiant. Yes, that’s the same Mandiant that released the bombshell report on PLA Unit 61398. The article provided an overview of Mandiant’s philosophy and business strategy. Then there was this interesting nugget buried at the end:
Industry watchers say there is a good likelihood of Mandiant going public sometime in the next year. The company’s last public announcement was the release of their annual threat report last month.
That would be an interesting investment opportunity.
