2 Live Webcasts Today: Emerging Technologies and Internet Governance

“Emerging and Readily Available Technologies and National Security: A Framework for Addressing Ethical, Legal, and Societal Issues” is the title of an event in Washington, DC, and a live webcast today, April 3, 2014, from 11:30 a.m. ET to 1:00 p.m. ET, sponsored by the Center for American Progress.  Details are on their website.  Note that Herb Lin of The National Academies of Science is one of the speakers.  He is a favorite of this blog.

Overlapping with that will be another live webcast entitled “Bully or Bodyguard? Assessing the Proper Role of the United States in Internet Governance,” presented by Information Technology and Innovation Foundation from Washington, DC.  Details and a link to their webcast can be found on their website.
