- SEC Steps Up Cybersecurity Enforcement (National Law Review): The SEC has been increasing activities to address cybersecurity since September, according to the National Law Review. - U.S. Navy Establishes Cybersecurity Division (ExecutiveGov.com): The U.S. Navy created a new organization aimed to incorporate cybersecurity strategies into its acquisition process, employee practices, and organizational culture, ExecutiveGov reports. According to the article, the division will be called the Navy Cybersecurity office, and will have approximately forty employees. The division will also be tasked to continue the work of the Task Force Cyber Awakening, including bolstering the Navy’s defense against information technology security threats, according to the article.
