Cybersecurity Enhancement Act advances in House: The Houston Chronicle

As reported by The Houston Chronicle, the Cybersecurity Enhancement Act moved to the House floor after passing the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee.  The article summarized the bill:

The Cybersecurity Enhancement Act creates a federal program to report to Congress every three years. The program focuses on a roadmap to security, grants to study human-computer interaction, identification of threats, and investigation of cyber crimes. The second bill focusing on investing in basic research and development to insure that cybersecurity professionals will be ready to tackle future threats that are unpredictable due to the evolving nature of electronic sabotage and security.
