Anonymous Goes Nuclear; Everybody Loses? CNET

On Jan. 19th, 2012, Molly Wood wrote an interesting article for CNET.  Noting Anonymous' recent DDOS spree on the FBI/DOJ/US Copyright office/MPAA/RIAA websites, Wood argues that Anonymous "nuked that goodwill" that came from the internet blackout.  In essence, the SOPA/PIPA inspired internet blackout was a feel good story; the internet came together and actually got results.  Now, attention will be drawn to the DDOS attacks, and Wood believes those attacks may "erase those good Internet vibrations that were rattling around Capitol Hill this week . . ."

The Daily Mail Online reported that Anonymous used links forwarded via Twitter to enlist unknowing computer users in those DDOS attacks.
