U.S. Probing Alleged Cyberattack Plot By Venezuela, Iran: Washington Times

On Dec. 13th, 2011, Shaun Waterman wrote for the Washington Times on the reported cyberattack plot against US nuclear plants.  Again, the basic idea being that the Iranians and Venezuelans may have coordinated a cyberattack plot with the help of a Venezuelan diplomat (who is currently in the US right now).

This article has much the same information, but adds a few more twists.  I previously mentioned that all of this information came out through a Univision documentary.  According to the article, the documentary actually provided footage of Iranian and Venezuelan diplomats receiving briefings on the planned attacks.  It gets better.  The Cuban government recruited a Mexican computer instructor to organize the group of hackers.

State Department is still investigating.
